Lama tak update kan? Pening kepala sebenarnya, sebab takut nak start the renovation hehehe I think semua org yg nak buat renovation will feel the same kan…cantik ke nanti resultnya? will it follow my plan n needs? ye la, bukan takat nak perabih RM2-3 ratus…puluhan ribu huhuhu panics panics Tapi bila pikir, kalau dah pindah masuk, chances I’ll renovate later adalah amat tipis hihi specially the plaster ceiling thing and kitchen. Coz I think, kitchen mesti complete by the time u move in, ye la..nak masak, nak letak pinggan mangkuk periuk belanga..takkan nak bergelimpangan atas lantai plak…so finally we agreed on how the renovation will be - to extend kitchen sampai habis belakang rumah, so we’ll have a dry & wet kitchen. and also buat plaster ceiling type L-Box at living hall and dining hall. And setelah berpuluh2 contractor kitorang amik quotation, last2 pilih Apek jugak hehe (Mr. Loh) boifren lamaa hahaha Jimmy is very particular pasal pemilihan contractor nih, ye la, ada yg murah + acceptable skill (selalunya indon lah), tapi can u trust them? And contractor Cina yg high skill plak mahal2, tapi bleh pecaya la, company establish, tapi…tak bleh nak banyak2 songeh ar kann..nak mintak itu ini, susah crita sket ar..But if someone u know, it will be easier, harga pun kawtim! Cheaper + high skill

For a start, we hired a draftman to lukis plan of extention and get the MPKJ’s approval to proceed with the renovation. The charges are different for single storey plan dan double storey plan. Berapa besar squarefeet pun u wanna extend, the price will be the same if its only involve a single storey extention. Kalau dah masuk nak tambah double storey, then the price is higher lah. So the plan may include your future plan as well (tambah terrace ke, tambah bilik ke, besarkan bilik ke..anything), so that later, you won’t need to go to Majlis Perbandaran to get approval lagi. Its ok to submit a plan, but u renovate less…but if u submit a plan, then u do more renovation than what’s approved, u’ll be in trouble lah kan hehe

While waiting for Alvin to draw the plan and gets MPKJ’s approval, we proceed with the internal renovation like wiring - penambahan xtra socket plug point at kitchen, living hall, family area and rooms, penambahan wall light point at living hall and dining hall, penambahan aircond point, penambahan fan point at all the rooms yg takdak and also dry kitchen, penambahan water heater point at 2 other bathrooms. Also xtra light point for plaster ceiling and downlight. After that buat plaster ceiling…and hopefully by then we can get MPKJ’s approval dah and start the kitchen extention punya renovation… Really pray everything will go smooth..scaryyy.

And oh ya, replacement of things that’s under developer’s warranty is also ongoing, like roof tiles yg pecah2/serpih2 tuu, ceiling kat 1st floor tu yang bergelora gelora hehe and anything yg not involved in renovation. Sebab once dah kacau part rumah tu with renovation, warranty dah tak cover :p
